We'll plan a day to meet your needs - and then do our very best to make you grin all day long. Wherever we go we'll make it fun, rewarding & we'll still add plenty of local knowledge & top tips.
Guided Walks
Want to join others and enjoy a cheap & sociable way to get out into the hills? These walks are a mix of the classics and little known gems - sometimes somewhere completely new. Just because.
Throughout the year I head out simply for the fun of it and these walks happen however many are booked on. A full day out for the cost of a bar meal....
Climbing Adventures
Fancy trying something more vertical? Already a climber & want to get an introduction to the Lake District? Ready to move from wall to crag?
Mountain Services also offer climbing & Via Ferrata sessions...
How we run our days...
Mountain Services aim to go the extra yard with our days out -we love what we do - and the best part is showing people the wonderful places we work. We don't offer big 'challenge' events (which btw we think can be done wonderfully & we're happy to recommend some folk...) - we do detailed leisurely days out where the main focus is having fun. And yes sometimes they're physically hard - but they're done with you at the centre - your safety, your fun & your sense of achievement.
So if you want to grab a summit, try climbing or maybe go scrambling - but you want it to be fun from start to finish - then get in touch....
