On our First Aid courses we use a range of teaching styles and resources - but even though we endeavour to make our scenarios as realistic and 'hands on' as possible some things can't be demonstrated.

First Aid & the Law
The single most asked question we get asked on our First Aid courses is "can i get into trouble for doing first aid?"
The short simple answer is "No" - but as with anything there are details that you do need to understand - are you acting in the casualties best interests? Are you operating within the skills you have?
To the best of our knowledge nobody in the UK has ever been sued for offering correct first aid - and in 2015 this was reflected in the SARAH law.

This week I was again asked whether coughing can restart the heart. No!
